I got 8 right.
I picked Ann Coulter for nearly every one though except for the scum comment & the last question, it just seemed something Hitler would say more

I don't get why most of those quotes are a big deal. There should be an Hitler vs. Margaret Sanger quiz....that's a lot more scary.

They're a big deal because Ann Coulter's eliminationist rhetoric is just like Hitler's except with "jews" replaced by "liberals". She's demonizing Americans because of their political views and talking about killing them. She's also 100% serious.
The sad thing is that these vile things have become part of the American political debate, and she can smear people viciously and people will run to her defense. Some worthless liberal like Ward Churchill calls WTC employees a cog in the machine and the entire rightwing says he represents the entire leftwing, is treasonous, should be thrown in jail, is a fake Indian, whatever. Ann Coulter says she wants to kill liberals and 9/11 wives are enjoying their spouses' death and the entire rightwing says she speaks only for herself and has a right to say what she wants and anyone who says anything about it is a dirty liberal.
I happen to agree with most of what she says, not because it's "liberals vs. non-liberals" but because of what I have seen and faced. I think she is a woman with strong opinions and convictions who has much of what she says taken out of context...shocking, I know. As someone who is conservatively religious, and yet does not take much of the "conservative" view, I see both sides screaming that the other is crazy, but it would appear that those "liberal" in ideology are the ones making fun and throwing slander while calling the OTHER side for what they themselves are doing.
In my search to see which "side" I was on, I did see more liberal people lying and contradicting what they themselves claimed to believe, while their defense against conservatives was mere name calling and insults. I have yet to see someone who has a clear, concise opinion without hate and malice toward a conservative who does not share their views.
"You fight like a cow"
Hitler was smarter, clearly.
Oh no...
Can you provide any examples of what she has said that has been taken out of context? I read the big liberal blogs and the big conservative ones. I watch Fox News and CNN and read Time. From my POV I see Ann Coulter getting a LOT of legitimacy in the media. She gets on TV and has carte blanche to say what she wants. Someone who is against torture or police brutality will be ripped to shreds on O'Reilly but he keeps his mouth shut when Coulter is on. She was on the cover of Time for heaven's sake! She has been promoting her book vigorously.Originally Posted by LoneDreamer
Jack Murtha, a war hero, was smeared by conservatives as soon as he spoke out against the Iraq war. Howard Dean has been smeared even though he's actually pretty moderate. Cindy Sheehan, Nick Berg, and other people who lost their kids in Iraq and are now against the war. Paul O'Neill, Richard Clarke and other people who left the Bush Administration and now speak against it. All these people have been labeled as "idiotic", "moonbats", "ultra-liberals", etc.I see both sides screaming that the other is crazy, but it would appear that those "liberal" in ideology are the ones making fun and throwing slander while calling the OTHER side for what they themselves are doing.
On a more general level, pretty much anyone who speaks out against the war or the Bush Administration is branded as an Osama-lover/America-hater/"cut and run coward"/etc. Kay Bailey Hutchison said it yesterday, I think, on the Senate Floor.
Thats because you're not reading the right people and the media doesn't give liberals equal time (just look at Hannity & Colmes). Read Paul Krugman and Glenn Greenwald to start. Don't you think its kind of unfair to ask for "clear, concise opinion without hate" of liberal writers while supporting Ann fucking Coulter? She hates the other side and makes no apologies for it - thats whats made her rich!Originally Posted by LoneDreamer

We are going to just have to disagree then. I will not try to change your mind, and I would appreciate it if you didn't try to change mine. I see mainly liberals in the media, except for programs in which conservatives are segregated to themselves. I never said anything about the Bush administration or the Iraqi war. I did not choose to cuss at you, or criticize how you felt about anything...I simply stated how I felt. And telling me that I have my opinion from simple ignorance is rude. I will kindly ask you not to speak to or about me again. Thank you.
