His is an irrational fear. If you drop a cotton ball in his lap he will jump up and run out of the room. I've even seen him run out of a building he freaked out so bad.

There has to be a reason why that lady is afraid of pickles. I thought this was a joke clip at first, but I feel really bad for her now.
