Ahem, Sega. I knew something had to be missing. Of course they're probably going to save that for another volume.

I'd like to see Gain Ground as the System 24 arcade version in this pack, but I'm guessing it'll be the Genesis one.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

Yeah, I agree. And Shining Force 1 & 2 should be included. Fo' sho.

edit: And Landstalker and Beyond Oasis.

Alot people in this thread seem to have this crazy idea that Sega wants to do multiple emulators and make them work across different systems for packages like this, just to get a version that like 3% of people will know is better.

It would be noble, but it would make little business sense.

Whatever, Smash Pack on Dreamcast had the best sound of any emu EVER.

Sold. I'm not into the emu scene, so I'll be very happy to have all of these on a portable. I haven't played some of them, too, so many will be a fresh experience (PSII and III, Comix Zone, Ecco and Golden Axe games, Ristar). Hopefully the emulation is good this time. If this does well, and they're actually good quality ports, I'd love to see a second edition with Shining Force I & II, the Streets of Rage series, Beyond Oasis, and more Shinobi's and Sonic's.

Also worth noting, the PSP version will have wireless multiplayer for some of the titles. I dunno if it's infrastructure, but I'd doubt it.

Damn, nice. Shadow Dancer too. Never played an Alex Kidd, so it'll be nice to check that out as well.

Both Sonic collections were well done.

  8. This is going to be worth it to me just for the Ecco games. That series never got the love it deserved.

Well from an emulation standpoint they were, but the second one speaking about the games. Eh...not so much.
