I haven't looked back on the past pages, so forgive me if it was asked already. Now is Will permanently stuck to being captain of the Dutchman? I saw his return after credits and kinda hoped he would be free from his duties instead of just being for the day. Also that giant fish I saw on the island, that sure as hell wasn't the Krakan was it? Just how the hell did it die when it got Sparrow??

The Kraken was killed by Davy Jones. This was stated during one of the conversations between Jones and Cutler. It was symbolic in regards to the pirates versus cutler situation.

It would have been great if at the end Will saw Elizabeth standing there as he sailed up, saw the kid, and immediately turned around.

Hey I finally saw this. Took the GF to Disney, we saw the movie in downtown Disney and then went into the park and took the ride. It was the first time I'd been on the ride since it re-opened with Jack Sparrow robots, but they didn't make any huge changes so it was hard to tell what was different most of the time. I kept getting the feeling that the Bayou in the beginning wasn't as cool as it used to be but I can't figure out why.

Movie was ok at best, but I didn't like 2 much either. I agree with Mr.K and Cow so I won't bother rehashing most of it. The more sorcery and fantasy they add the more it takes away from the Pirate theme. I also hate Will Turner's character, he's such a douche, and they give him too much screen time yet again.

And since I have nowhere else to vent, fuck the Finding Nemo ride. RIDICULOUS line at all times and no fast pass so I didn't get to ride it.
