    Nope. Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk.

  3. There was a fight in which Wolverine was just about decapitated, and it took a while for him to recover and when he did he was in a berserker rage.
I could have sworn it was the What If comic with Conan, but looking at a synopsis, it doesn't seem like it was that (it just mentioned how Wolvie cut off Conan's hand).
It's bugging the hell out of me.

Ultimate Hulk vs Wolvy, Hulk was basically running a Tibetan herum. logan showed up, he got ripped in half. It shows him climbing up a mountain to where his legs are.
Ultimate XMen, Colossus also ripped off his leg, after wolverine cut out colossus' heart.

  5. Thank goodness it was nothing serious!

  7. I used to HATE Wolverine back in the 90's. WTF was my problem?

Maybe that him and Venom were the "cool" characters so they were completely overexposed, shoved into stuff they didn't need to be in, and talked about way too much.

  9. Other than the train scene and Mecha-Silver-Samurai there was nothing in this film I didn't like. But there was very little that I loved.

  10. I actually thought it was pretty good. I dug the whole Japanese thing, and it was slightly unconventional for a super hero movie and an overall big improvement over Origins...but at the end it aaaall fell apart.

I enjoyed that they reduced his healing factor drastically...it made him a far more compelling and interesting character when he could be hurt and was walking around all injured and shot up and shit and a gang of normal dudes could actually give him trouble. I mean, it gets boring when he's invincible...in fact, I was bummed when he got his full powers back.

Anyway, the film was well-done with a decent story and good fights and characters and everything, but like Korly said, when Mecha-Silver-Samurai showed up it just turned to shit. Just dopey as hell, and when the old man was revealed to be in the Samurai suit, I just lost my shit. I called it the second I saw the armor, and after Logan cut its head off, I said to myself, "the worst thing that could happen is the old man's head pops up"...and it did. Ugh, so gay.

Lame that he has the bone claws back, but whatever.

Mid-credits sequence was cool. Nice Trask shout-out and it was neat to see old-school Mags and Prof X back, and hopefully the next X-Men movie will be good.
