Watched it last week in Singapore and thought it was pretty good except for the last part which was just stupid. Most Western movies that attempt to portray Japan and Japanese characters usually get it all wrong with horrible sets and actors who aren't Japanese or can't speak worth a shit so was surprised to see how well done it was, especially at Tao and Rila's English which beats Rinko's in Pacific Rim.

One funny bit of trivia is that while they are running around in Akihabara and end up in Ueno station, they are actually running the wrong direction and it would take about 30 minutes to do that lol

I like gigantic chest protuberances on a woman as much as anyone, but usually it think in terms of breasts rather than collar bones. I swear Mariko's were about to burst out from under her skin.

When the old guy popped up in the Silver Samurai I couldn't even be bothered to cringe. There was never any way his death wasn't faked and when the armor showed up there's no place else he could have been.

I swear I tried to turn off my brain and enjoy a good summer popcorn flick. It was pretty fun overall, but in a bad-movie way.

And when his healing factor was turned off, his hand would have looked like hamburger where his claws pop out.

His healing factor clearly wasn't turned off...it was just slowed down, as evidenced by the fact that he was getting shot multiple times at point-blank range and not, like, you know, dying.

But yeah, his hands should have been covered in blood all times with the claws and all. PG-13, I guess.

How about the fact that Xavier must have been real pissed that the body he implanted his mind into at the end of the Last Stand was a paraplegic as well.

If I was Bryan Singer I'd just retcon The Last Stand completely out of existence. I'm suprised the dude who directed The Wolverine didn't do the same thing.

Maybe they'll just pull the "Jean Grey was really in a cocoon the WHOLE TIME" thing from the comics, thereby eliminating Logan's guilt over doing the right goddamn thing that she asked him to do in the first place.
