I'm all over this, I loved RR and R6.
"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."
lol.
Yeah, this series is getting long in the tooth. BO and PGR DO kill it.
Except that you play BO and PGR for totally different racing experiences than you play RR for, thus making no sense to pit them all against each other.
PSP RR was very good, so I'll happily buy a second. And yes, please, remake more of the R4 courses, or has already been asked, just do a total R4 remake.

But you will never, ever convince me that it is unfair to compare a racing game to a racing game. PGR >> RR, even with PGR3 being a slight misstep and RR6/PSP being as-solid-as-always entries in the series.
You play every game to get different experiences... if we wanted the same experience from every game we would just play the same game for the rest of our lives. Your argument holds no water.

RR, PGR, and BO all attempt to give you a different racing experience. If I want an arcade-style racing game, and you recommend that I pick up PGR, because they're all just racing games, I'm going to hate the game. If you want to say, "Out of racing games, I prefer X and Y," that's fine. But PGR and BO existing don't negate the need for a game like RR, nor are they similar enough to be directly comparable.
And I'm not saying we shouldn't have different gaming experience, don't be ridiculous. It's like telling me that I don't need to play Silent Hill anymore, now that RE4 came out and it makes for a better gaming experience. They're both survival horror, but each has its own strengths and its own reasons for playing it, and aren't directly comparable (in my opinion).

That's the last thing they need to do is make a remake.Originally Posted by shidoshi
Besides Ridge Racer for PSP had every track in every Ridge Racer game except a few from R4.
It's not like R4 had that much anyways.
