I don't mean to disrespect gamers that liked Halo or Halo2 though, they are just not my type of games - also I'm an offline gamer... I liked galleon even though it had it's flaws, there weren't many games like it on xbox.

Is Panzer Dragoon Orta any good, or is it shitty-shit? I've seen videos and screenshots but they didn't sell me on it.
I have Halo 2 but I can't be bothered setting up online and playing it with a pad, and it has that Western total-lack-of-style look that tends to put one off.

This thread reminds me that I always wanted to pick up Arx Fatalis. I heard pretty good things about it back when it was released but I never found it in any stores locally.
I agree on Outrun 2. But I think everyone knows I love that game. One of the best racing games SEGA has ever made.

Excellent graphics and the gameplay isn't too bad; standard railshooter. I didn't enjoy the universe it was set in though, there was something shallow and gay about it. The voiceacting creeped me out, it was some kind of jibberish language they made up for the game.
It prolly aged quite a bit, but the atmosphere shot straight into my soul. It had this nice retro feel to it, like from the good old days of pure adventure games. I'd love a sequel...

I loved Galleon. It is the only game besides Tomb Raider 1 that lets you explore areas for a couple hours without much enemy interaction. Most find that boring, but I love getting lost in giant levels and no game did that better than Galleon.
Comparing Galleon to Halo is fucking retarded.
