Speaking of Star Fox styled games, Solar Assault (the Star Fox-like arcade Gradius) never came to home consoles, did it? I'd like to play it again. I recall liking it more for the novelty of Gradius from that perspective than enjoying the gameplay, but it'd be fun to see again.

It never did. I'd love to play that one again as well. They used to have it at Sega City in Circle Center in Indianapolis when I was in college.

You bumped the thread to state what has been on EB's list for months? I don't expect decency from someone with an A-Rod avatar, but at least tell us something new, like the official name being Project Sylpheed: Arc of Deception, or what the cover looks like:

Star Fox sucks, and rail-shooters are my favorite genre.

It certainly hasn't aged gracefully. I'll give you that much.

The demo is a good tutorial and a 15 minute escort mission. There's so much stuff flying around it's hard to keep track of who's doing what and where. Confusing drawn-out escort mission isn't the way to make me happy about a demo, much less the game it's supposed to represent.
