Thread: Dying- awake or asleep?

  1. Durrrrr.

  2. Awake.
It only happens once, so why would I want to miss it?

    Now that's comedy.

  4. I am immortal. I do not comprehend this question.

I'm not religious, so no supermodels for me if heaven exists
Maybe I'd change in later life though as I got older and become more scared of death, but as far as I'm concerned right now, all religion is just a way of giving hope to people that life continues after death. I'm not trying to start another religious debate here, that's just what I think.

  6. Anyone who chose immortal would change their mind after the first hundred years or so.

    Asleep for me.

  7. Trapped in a tiny box, set on fire.

No way, that's just the right amount of time for me to do something productive. I could definitely fill up hundreds of years. Pacing is key.

  9. Asleep all the way. The circumstances I imagine of dying while awake is someone cutting off my limbs and laughing maniacally while I bleed to death and experience horrible, horrible pain.

  10. I wouldn't mind being awake, though like some said, they're scared of a lot of pain dying so who knows. As painful as it may be though it won't really be your concern shortly thereafter whether you believe in an after-life or not. Something about going to sleep and not waking up doesn't sit quite well with me, I'd rather have some understanding of it when it happens rather then it just happening as I slept.
