I'm shocked that you said "sometimes".

    no you aren't

  3. The best part was the stoned guy 37 minutes into the movie answering questions from note cards.

  4. I just got finished watching it.
The only thing that surprised me was how close the U.S. got to decriminalization.

Still, it's pretty depressing to realize how easily the public at large is manipulated by the very people that are supposed to be representing their interests.

Also, Sonny Bono was an even bigger asshole than I thought.
It's a shame he didn't smack into that tree and die a few decades earlier.

You'd be surprised at how close we got to socialized medicine, too.

It really underscores the importance of selecting worthwhile public leaders. Its not unreasonable to say there might be no war on drugs, national health care, etc. had one or two elections gone a different way.

  6. A&E has a series on drugs...Addicted I think it's called. Something like that. Each episode is about one drug, how it was discovered, used, made popular (where and when as well as how). Really facinating shit.

  8. Doesn't history channel have a series like this called "Hooked-Illegal Drugs and how they got that way?"

P.S. TNL is a bunch of angry stoners.
You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.

That mindset is part of the problem.

Madison said that if we are electing corrupt assholes to office, it is because we are all corrupt assholes.

Yeah, it's awful. It's basically the 50's propoganda films, combined with lame interviews by "experts".
