Thread: Earliest gaming memory?

  1. My was probably playing Breakout! at a supper club. That or Turmoil or Berzerk for the 2600 at my cousin's house. I had a pong system in my bedroom when I was young, but I believed I recieved it from an aunt post-2600.

I think it was playing games on the first atari system that could play floppies. I remember this one game with a ducks that lived in italy. You had to go around with your boat and catch them before they walked out into the water. If they got into the water a croc would eat them.

I also remember moon patrol, railroad, and a make your own pinball game. Oh and there was this other old game that was a lot like lemmings. You had this fucked up house and you put springs and balls and shit in it to keep this dumbass from falling to his death.

  3. When I was 5: Seeing my dad play Duck Hunt gangster style with a beer in the other hand going "Caulisse, qu'cest cool ses estis de jeux."

    Ah, memories.

    Yeah that was it.

  6. Colecovision in my basement at age 2 or 3.

Also, when I was young my dad would take me to the local arcade every single Thursday. He would play pinball and I would play everything else. At the end of the day he would still be playing off of the same 2 tokens he took from the original pile and he would let me play the last of his pinball game to end the day. I always thought he would just continue to play forever because he was so good at pinball so I was almost helping us leave by not being as good at the game. We had to get home for dinner eventually anyways. Good times

PS: And my Grampa and I played Dragon Warrior together and sent letters back and forth comparing stats.

I'm sure I have posted all of this before (maybe even earlier in this thread!)

In my neighborhood we didn't do anything except have Super Soaker fights and watch Mexican porn so my priorities were pretty fucked up for awhile.

  8. Playing gay ass Atari football with my buddies. Terrible game.

  9. seeing my older cousins playing burger time on what looked like a calculator with a circle on it. also playing q-bert at a rest stop or something.

  10. Anybody remember those handhelp football games with players that looked like this?
