So if you don't know whats happening its total chaos right now in the middle east. Israel is bombing the shit out of Lebanon because of captured solders by a guerrilla group in southern Lebanon. Now Israel is claiming them to have connections to Iran. What does this mean, well this my interpretation it setting up for Israel to invade, and attack Iran. They see these captured solders as a justification for a possible attack on Iran. What surly is to happen next is the involvement of the US in Iran. The pieces are in place, and its only a matter of time before it gets even crazier.

Dude, relax. NOBODY is attacking Iran. It's not happening. Iran's army is like Iraq x10. The US & Israel combined don't have the manpower & money right now, and it would be a horrible idea.
This is a bunch of noise because Hezbollah hides out in Lebanon and gets money from Iran. The Israelis will exchange fire, there'll be some skirmishes, but the chance of full-on war between Israel & Lebanon is zero - that one didn't work out too well for the Israelis last time they tried it.

The other problem is this: Lebanon is only a unified state is the loosest of terms. Hezbola holds a few seats in the parliment. The only thing keeping the country together is the fact that no one wants to get into another bloody civil war which lead to both Syrian and Israeli occupation and 30 years of on and off conflict. Nor can Lebanon afford a war, they're litterally in debt over 230% their GDP. Lebanese resistance would be sectarian militias who would fight Israel only as often as they fought each other.
If you want a good idea of what I'm talking about read the first half of Friedman's From Beruit to Jerusalem. He pretty much nails Lebanon according to all my relatives who lived during the 30 year civil war.
And the shitty part was I was gonna goto Lebanon this year.

Yeah, he has been a gigantic douche for quite some time. The problem is that the past two months he's actually been nice. I honestly can't remember having conversations with him before, let alone him being nice to everyone in the family. I'm too pessimistic to think that he's changed much at all, but I sort of give a shit about him now, so it sucks that he could end up getting blown up over there come winter.
