Yeah, he'd have to be another 30 miles higher and into the ionosphere for that, I believe.Dont think the balloon would have made it that high.
And much respect for this dude. Imagine looking up and seeing nothing but the blackness of space above you while in a balloon.Balls of steel.
I do wonder if he didnt jump out because of fear,got hypoxic and loopy, or if they had a predetermined hieght for him to jump out at.
