Heroes on NBC

I'm finally watching the marathon and my DVR'd eps ... this show is more in line with Rising Stars than X-Men. Sure the players may have the same powers as the X-Men, but Rising Stars was more on superheroes who didn't know they were caught in the middle of a struggle for who gets to them first.

Rising Stars was an awesome comic and this show is fucking beautiful.

Sylar knows how to consume brains to steal powers, hence why he has regen powers along with telekinesis and super jumping/teleportation. My guess is that Sylar causes the nuke detonation one way or another. He consumes Isaac's brain 5 weeks from current, and realizes he has no future.

Well, it's either that, or the glasses man is harvesting them for research. Less likely because why kidnap Marc instead of gutting him?

In LA at the frozen dad scene, the mom is stapled to the staircase, which is supposed to be Sylar's work. The frozen dad has no brain. Two and two together.

I use 'eat brains' just as a general term. One way or another, he uses the brains to absorb powers.

Also, Peter will kill Sylar. Sylar, having tons of powers, will nuke anyone back to the stoneage who tries to take him on. However, Peter can mimic other's powers... and that has to include Sylar. So with an even playing field, they fight and the good guy wins. I'll also put money on that's where Peter gets his scar (the one that future Hiro mentions). I find it unlikely that Sylar will survive past this season and/or they'll leave the nuked NYC storyline past the end of this season. That's just personal theory with no basis; just kinda how Michael breaks out of prison at the end of season 1 of Prison Break, it just happened by the end of the year.

I cant wait till they start experimenting with their powers cause you can hear the politician asking his bro "how fast do you think we can fly" in the short promo they played after the marathon

This show rocks hard.

But why ... is the cheerleader so important. I like how the father can phase through objects. This feels more like Avengers than X-Men.

So is Heroes like a Rising Stars thing, because that's what it really sounds like right now.

Rising Stars was promising but sucked by the end. If this ends up being any good I'll rent the season DVDs =)
