But why ... is the cheerleader so important. I like how the father can phase through objects. This feels more like Avengers than X-Men.

I was thinking its cause her power of invincibility cant be copied by the politicians bro and if syler gets his hands on it he'll be...well...invincible

Yeah, he's either a powerful telepath or something like an empty shell that can do the same.

Here's my Nikki theory: Her alter-ego was how she originally was. Hollowman did what he did to the jock to Nikki, but Nikki's original personality is coming back slowly. Not totally convinced she has any powers, but the original her may have super strength/agility.

Saving the cheerleader isn't the real goal of what future Hiro said; the real goal is to bring everybody together, or at least Mohinder, Peter, Isaac, Claire, and Hiro.

It was interesting to see Nathan REALLY fly. I didn't make the connection from the preview that jumping man was him.

I know for sure i heard someone say something about 'the man in the horn rimmed glasses' in the previews for the pilot but as far as which ep...im not sure...heh

I've seen all the eps except the first so might be that one >_>

EDIT: Now that i think about it it never specifies that the cheerleaders dad is syler. And he obducted the cop and left his brain him so the guy eating brains and the cheerleaders dad arent the same person then huh? I'm confused now

I'm pretty certain he's not Syler. The cheerleader's dad lives in TX, with her, and has been for a long time considering he's her foster dad. Syler comes from New York, has an apartment there, and presumably lived there a while as a friend of the indian dude's dad. At first i thought the black dude was Syler, but since that's blondie's hubby that seems unlikely as well.
