I like the fact that it's a guy who can read minds. Usually the man is already capable of dealing with his powers.

Not to mention the fact that most people said they'd give it another shot anyway, makes the complaints about the complaints seem more like a "WTF HE'S NOT SUPPORTING SUPER HERO STUFF!" more than anything. I missed this week's episode though.

  3. ...wats the point of complaining about it if you're going to keep watching it?

  4. This is a discussion thread about Heroes. I had reservations concerning the first episode and posted them. Other people then responded to these comments with their own opinions. This is how a message forum works.

If you read my first post I wasn't writing the show off entirely.

  5. Seriously. I've been giving this show a chance but I feel like I'm wasting my time with it. If I can't say that on a message board in a thread about the show, then you can all fuck off.

  6. Show has potential, but suffers from some bad writing. Nothing years of Japanese TV won't help me ignore.

I like how the show is following "real time" and there's additional stuff online. Makes the wait for November 8th all the more engrossing. Japanese guy's cool and I fell in love with the cheerleader's actress long ago, so I'm gonna have fun with this show.

  7. The Japanese kid is everyone's favorite character. Take that for what it's worth because I generally hate everything from Japan.

  8. I personally like the show but at the same time it has plenty of room for improvement. I think as the show progresses and they all start learning how to use their powers it's going to get much more intresting. I must admit the Indian dude makes me want to turn the channel though. =/

I get the feeling though that it's going to be sort of GroundHog Dayish... based on the way the last episode ended. Like they are going to have to do everything perfect in order to prevent that explosion or whatever.

  9. Holy Shit!

Nah, I'm really convinced they're gonna be doing it in real time. And I don't know how well a Groundhog Day execution would be, spanning television episodes. It's cool when it's quick like the movie, but with the amount of time to loop it would drag too much.
