wow.....this has been an extremely shitty episode 50 minutes in. i knew they wouldn't have a long winded battle since their budget would never allow it. what the fuck is with the "you have heart peter" bullshit like this is captain fucking planet?

anyway i'm sure they'll leave us all wanting more when it's all said and done. great season, i'm just really let down by the 50 minutes so far. we really didn't need all the back pedaling and re-showing of shit and why the hell did Ando look supried that last time Hiro teleported in the office? he's seen him do it a million times.

hiro has no problem stabbing sylar. VERY uneventful.
peter already had nathans power so for nathan to fly him away? why?
sylars blood will make the TMNT.
the only point to "saving the cheerleader to save the world" was so she could tell nathan that nothing is written in stone....so he could fly peter in the sky, when he didn't have to because peter already had nate's ability.

peter will still be alive because he regenerates.

Someone stole Sylar's corpse. There really isn't any kind of reason why Peter couldn't just fly up and prevent himself from using Tim's power in the middle of the city. I guess you could argue he had too much going on to be able to fly.

Matt Parker got smoked. I wish the battle with Sylar at the end was the entire last half of the episode. I enjoyed Hiro stabbing Sylar through the gut, but WTF? This was really underwhelming.

What a let down. Don't tease a battle for half a season and give us 2 minutes (if even that) of deliverence.

It was an ok episode but very anti-climactic.

I did have these problems though:

Although I don't recall Peter using multiple powers at once so maybe he couldn't do that while struggling to contain the energy. The end left alot of cool loose ends though like Hiro going farther into the past (Japan feudal times?), Sylar still being alive, and Nathan/Peter are probably alive somehow.

Cause things were not supposed to go this way. She was supposed to die and Pete was supposed to explode. But since she's still there, she can save HIM for once. Since he puts others over himself.

Remember Sylar killing that guy Zach ... he could melt? Right he probably had liquified his body around thew sword. Cause you know ... he took that super hearing power from the Mechanic lady. Yeah ... you forgot.

The point was saving the cheerleader was to prevent Sylar from taking her healing power. Linderman and Petrelli's mom never expected her to survive. So, now she's alive she could convince the "Exploding man" (Pete) to try and control his power and since she was alive saved Nathan from being the hero turned villain.

I liked the ending. It reminded me of one story arc ending and one starting up. It was like reading an old X-Men comic. Linderman/Petrelli mom are like Magneto and Scarlet Witch. I thought it was a fitting end to the show.

Like I always said my mind set going in was to view it literally as a comic. And it lived up to those expectations. I have never read a comic where the battle was read like it was a half an hour. It was exactly like Heroes. HRG(Xavier) tries to face off with Mags(Sylar), but Mags tosses him out of the chair and leaves him laying in the corner. Wolvie(Pete) then faces off with Mags. Mags seeing hes metal picks him up and laughs at him. Colossus(Nikki) comes in and bashes him distractijng him. Xavier tries his darnest to help. But can't cause he can't get up or walk. Matt(Jean) tries to get involved, but Mags just throws shit at her. At the very end. Nightcrawler(Hiro) comes in for the save and usually ends it. Ot sets it up for someone else to end it.
