When seen in the light of PSP's shitty release list, it could be. If JD'C doesn't sell you a PSP, I don't think anything will.

People buy it for portable shit.
When I take a dumb I most certainly don't want to hold a piece of shit in my hands as well.
I bought mine for portable Madden and NBA Live. Also for Lumines and Wipeout. Watch out for extreme tastes in games...
Jeanne D'Arc is the kind of game that Sony initially showed back at E3 '04 when the only playable demo was a Tales of... game. It's taken them this long to release a first party game like it, and then all of the sudden it's JD, FFT, and Disgaea all within 2 months of eachother. Now I'm considering getting a PSP Slim...who woulda thought.
On the game itself, it can get challenging pretty fast if you're not used to playing SRPG's. It's been since FFTA for me. The gameplay is solid, and the anime cutscenes and in-game cutscenes are great. Just by looking at a couple videos you can see how amazing the graphics are for the PSP.
If you have a PSP and don't buy this game, you hate fun. You don't hate fun, do you?
I hate fun, but I still like Zshen Da-arc.
Hands-down best SRPG in a long time. Yeah it's a great time to buy a PSP, especially if you take the extra few minutes to load custom firmware and run the games with 0 load times off the memory card. Actually makes earlier NIS PSP releases playable.
Jeanne just feels right. It's straightforward, challenging, and the story actually has characters that have some depth to them. Doesn't hurt that battle is intuitive and pretty deep. Definitely worth buying a PSP for.
"50,000! You scored 50,000 points on Double Dragon?"
Eh I don't think it's WORTH buying a PSP for :P
