I'm going to end up eating those words by the end of the game. The zany accents and annoying speech impediments are really getting out of control.

"LETS MAEK RUFUS TALK LIEK SCOOBY DOO BCUZ HES A DOG LIKE SCOOBY DO AND I LVED SCOOBY DO! "

  2. Colet is the worst by far.

  3. A bit over 10 hours in now. I just took Tourelles and beat Talbot for the 3rd (?) time. Fucker won't die. On chapter 3, but I'm not sure how many there are. Seems like a lot of people are glossing over this game and missing a really solid SRPG. Graphics, gameplay, story, sound...everything is done well.

I think Rufus is the most grievous offender, but Colet just doesn't make any sense. In a game set in France with French characters, why is Colet's text the only dialogue conveyed in a French accent? Shouldn't they all have accents? Or none of them? Or am I to believe that Colet is so French that he speaks French in a Frenchier way than the rest of the cast?

  5. Maybe he's the French equivalent to this guy:

  6. IDBTN.
:P This game can't be worth $250 (That's including everything)

Where's the extra $50 coming from? 25% sales tax?

Maybe it's not $200 good; I don't think any game single-handedly warrants the purchase of a system except Third Strike, but it's close.

  8. That's my point :P this plus FFT REALLY make me want a PSP.

  9. About 10 hours in, this game is so much fun. Sure it is not as complex as FFT, but I enjoy it more. Graphics are great, good fast turns and lots of cool abilities to unlock/try. Like the story too, this is probably my PSP GOTY (FFT is a remake/port so it is exempted).

  10. Enjoy it while it lasts, KoF. The first half of the game is amazing. In the latter chapters, both the story and the balance sort of implode.

Still, I finished the game twice, which is two more times than I finish most RPG's.
