  2. Jeanne is one of my favorite historical figures. I would love to see this done by the guys who did ogre battle (forgot their name). They have a reasonably good feel of what goes on in political stories, and they would be even better if they strayed from the supernatural.

  3. Still trucking away at this game. I have about 27 hours in now, and I think I am close to the end. It started to get all JRPG crazy story-wise towards the end. I pretty much rape everybody now and I hardly die. Once you have more than one person that can transform you can abuse the Godspeed ability and kill off tons of foes. I really like the music, the battle music changes every chapter but it keeps the same theme. The translation is a bit hokey, I do like how the elves speak with alliteration all the time; it's rather clever. Anyway, if you haven't picked this up, it's one of the better games for PSP.

    I agree, I love every minute of this game. The last boss took me several tries but once I figure out the right magic to equip Cyclone I/II and Sweep, he was a piece of cake.

  5. Finally getting around to playing this again, quite good.

    I just got to Chapter VI I think it is, right after Rounen and Jeanne just got her hot slut outfit. I love it.

  6. Yeah, Ive started to dig into this one too.

    Just started Chapter III (Im really getting fucking sick out fighting Talbot.I swear Im going to put the game down if I have to fight him again and he doesnt die on the ground with a blade in his gut)

    Besides my Talbot issues my only other gripe with the game is the Round Limit. Its lame and tacked on to add to difficulty. I can see if a certain Mission requires speed, like 'have to defeat enemies before the castle Im in burns down' or ' must lop Talbots head off before he sets off magic bomb' or something. But not every damn mission.

  7. I don't really have much of a problem with the round limit. All it does is keep you from really slowly, one square at a time turtling your way up to enemies until they get set off. I don't really see it as artificial difficulty though, I only think there was one time I lost due to the round limit, and that was my own stupidity.

    Hmm, maybe I just play too cautiously because Ive had issues a few times with the round limit. Battles where I was down to one or two guys still alive on my team, the enemy had two or three guys, and thanks to the round limit I didnt have a chance to get to the other side of the map to fight them.That seems really artifical to me, and the battle might have been interesting if I could have gotten to those two guys to finish, but couldnt. This has mostly happened to me in Free Area combat and so far the Battle of Augustens (daytime and nighttime - until I figured out you only had to kill Talbot to finish the mission ,even though Im pretty sure the objective said to kill ALL enemies )

  9. Yeah, I'd have to go with you're doing it wrong. All I've done is play the new Free Area each time it opens between story rounds then continued on and honestly I rape the shit out of everything. I don't think I've ever even been down to two or three guys alive? Who are you using as your main characters?

    I dont think I really have set mains, but usually on the free combat areas (I only jump in them once too after story rounds) I try to use underplayed characters like Liane,Jean,Bertrand, and the Scooby-Doo wanna be to get them a little higher. Liane is stupidly under-powered and has become more of a spellcaster/Healer role if she's in my party.She either needs to die off or become one of the chosen "bracelet-warriors".
    But yeah, Im probably doing it wrong. I dont use the same characters every round and change it up. I like to see a little variety...
