Back in the day, Joe Montana football was neck and neck with Madden, and more recently, NFL GameDay outsold Madden for a few years. There was a time when Mario was the biggest franchise. Then Sonic was. Then whatever.

Once the NFL came around looking for exclusivity, Sega folded. They didnt even want the sports franchises anymore. They didnt give a shit, so why should you?

It's audacious but EA is providing something to its fans. Whatever. If it was about Street Fighter 4 or some shit you would pay double.
