Lance Bass, the former member of 'N Sync has revealed in a People magazine cover story that he is gay and that he is developing a TV series with Joey Fatone, another 'N Sync member, in which his character will be gay. Bass said that he had declined to discuss his sexual orientation when the singing group was still active because he feared "it would overpower everything" and possibly result in "the end of 'N Sync." He added, "So I had that weight on me of like, 'Wow, if I ever let anyone know, it's bad.' So I just never did [come out]."
