Andy sounds like a neanderthal.
Rivers is going to be asked to just run the O, this is LT's team. His spot is similiar to the Dilfer/TB relationship.
San Diego is the best of the 3, however never count out New England, they are the best coached team in football and have shown over and over again that they don't need a big play WR to get the job done.
New Orleans won't even finish at .500 this year, good start, however teams will figure out that their D is not nearly good. Plus they beat the packers and the browns, big deal.
Little guy eh?![]()
I was 6'2 210 when I graduated, I could have went to Mount Union and played QB, however a D1 school in the top 20 in terms of education offering me a baseball scholarship made it no question of what to do.
In the All-Star game, Orlando Pace hit me so hard that my shoulder pads broke in fucking half, that was by far the biggest, fastest, meanest man I ever saw in my life. This game was for fun, and this guy just killed us. I also played with Andy Katzenmoyer, who was, no doubt, the biggest idiot I ever had the pleasure of talking to in my life.
Here was our conversation:
Biff "Andy, heard you're going to Ohio State, nice job kid"
Andy "Yeah, Ohio State is god, you're going to Michigan, you're stupid" add grunts and duh's
Biff "Yeah, I figure, get the degree, play 4 more years and quit"
Andy "After college, duh Pro's"
Biff "What if it doesn't work out?"
Andy "Duh PROS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Biff "That's super duper, see you around"

Wow, is anybody going to cross midfield in this game? This is pretty insane.

Charlie Batch > Ben Roethlisberger
Ben Roethlisbreger does two things very well - makes smaller guys bounce off him, and never throw interceptions. The latter is pretty impressive.
Outside of that, he is not a good quarterback, despite what the media wants to make of his magical winning powers and immediate success ("he should have been taken higher than Rivers!").
There has been ample evidence of this, and one day when he doesn't have a dominant run blocking line and defence to carry him this will become very apparent.

I hate the Steelers.
Big Ben doesn't throw a ton of picks or anything but his INT/ATT ratio isn't that great. The Steelers rely on their running game so much he rarely throws more than 20-25 passes a game which is a big part of the reason why he doesn't have that many interceptions. He throws a pick once every 28 attempts, which isn't bad, but it's not like he never throws them. Peyton Manning throws one every 33 attempts, and Brady, who rarely throws picks, throws one every 38 attempts. Brad Johnson, who's basically made a career out of not fucking up, has one every 37.5 attempts. Favre had one every 21 attempts last season when everyone wouldn't shut the fuck up about how many interceptions he was throwing (and one every 30 on his career, and he was never known for taking care of the football).
Ben has had it very easy his first few years. Yes, he's aclimated to the NFL very quickly but I'm sick of hearing about how fucking awesome he is. His rookie season he had two number one WRs, a future HoF RB, a ridiculously good O-line, and an amazing defense. He's lost some weapons since then (and gained a couple as well) but the Steelers are still set up so that pretty much anyone could play QB there halfway decently. Batch proved it week one. Now I won't go so far as to say he's not a good QB but I'm really tired of the blowjobs he constantly receives from the media even though he is far from the most important player on that team.

Ben isn't that bad, you guys aren't giving enough credit to Jacksonvilles defense. They also killed the cowboys.
San Diego IS a good team, they will win their division going away. Who's going to challenge them Denver? Oakland? KC?
People on this board have a very limited football knowledge base, it amazed me how much they insult good teams.
