I have a bad feeling that Parcells will just ride out the TO drama, and when the season ends, he'll tell Jerry "I told you so" and call it quits.
I love that Jerry is willing to spend the cash to bring in talent. I just don't like the fact that he doesn't respect the coaches perspective on the matter. He needs to step down as GM and just be an owner. Hire somebody else, to do the thinking about prospective talent.
He should act like Jeffrey Lurie and never win anything instead.

I'd say Jimmie Johnson's eye for talent, had alot to do with it as well. Plus, the league didn't have a salary cap back in 1991 http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/question644.htm, so Jerry could buy all the talent they didn't get through the draft. I'm pretty sure 49'ers fans can recall the bidding wars they had between Dallas for players like Deion Sanders, Charles Haley and Ken Norton Jr. (Michael Irvin was there before the Heshel Walker trade as well.)
The current Cowboys team has about 6 first round draft picks on the field and several others that moved on. Marcus Spears, Demarcus Ware, Roy Williams, Julius Jones, Terrance Newman and Marco Columbo (Though he was picked by the bears at #30 overall) were all first round picks. Julius Jones was Jerry's boy all the way and he's been injury riddled for the past 2 seasons.
All the first round picks you could muster, don't mean shit, if you can't build a supporting cast around it.

I predicted a blow up by week 8, he came out I little early.
Also, anybody who thinks the Eagles are better than the Bears should pass their shit over to me.

Matchup of the week:
Philadelphia (4-1) at New Orleans (4-1): Eagles have yet to taste defeat on the road while the same can be said about the Saints at home. I'm pretty sure this is where the Saints' fairytale run comes to an end, Philly is just to dominate for them. If the Saints do pull it out though, look for them in the playoffs.
