NFL 2006 Season

I think the NFC East is still strong, with three very good teams that no other division but the NFC South has(and the South was just as hyped as the East was). Currently, the east has the top two offences(Iggies and the Jints) in the NFL.

The cowboys have a scary D that can keep up with anybody and have the best skill positions at the recievers/ends in the game, however they have a poor oline and a qb that can't get the ball to those excellent recievers under pressure.

The eagles have an incredible quarterback and their skill postitions are pretty good, however they have a tendency to abandon the run when they shouldn't and they lost an amazing player in Kearse earlier, plus Micheal Lewis has been sucking pretty hardcore recently.

The Giants are really slow starters on O, but can score on anybody in the second half. Their Defence is kinda hard to predict right now, they were shredded in the first three games but they played against three really strong quarterbacks/offences(Manning, McNabb, Hasselback) and have played alot better since the bye.

There is no Bears in the division right now and the Redskins are pretty bad(but i'd take them over the bucs), but the three aforementioned teams are all very good, albeit have some weaknesses that have hurt them.

I was at the Skins game yesterday, and although I had a fucking blast getting shitfaced with my boss, I officially have no faith whatsoever left in the Skins. Yeah, yeah, I probably shouldn't have to begin with, but shit, losing to the Titans? That was some shameful shit. Good thing the Ravens are right across town.

Well, Titans did give Indianapolis a run for their money and barely lost that one, so give the Titans credit. That team has turned around from the joke they were in the first few games.

I'm still not buying the Saints as a real contender. The Eagles treated last week like their Super Bowl. They will never play that well again, and they had a let down that let the Saints beat them. I don't see either of those teams making the playoffs and certainly not winning a game.

Then you're simply in denial, they are certainly a contender, I don't think they could go all the way, but this is in no way shape or form all smoke and mirrors as you said. They're definately a real surprise, but they seem to be a real deal of a team.

This is going good for me, though. I am up 67-60 in my FFL match and my opponent has the Bears D. I have Thomas Jones and some WR. If TJ can rumble one in I pretty much have it clinched, unless the Bears D goes ape shit before the end.
