What.. the fuck.. did Dennis Green.. just say.. ?
What.. the fuck.. did Dennis Green.. just say.. ?
It really was horrible listening to radio in Chicago this week, everyone was so damned confident of the blowout and some went so far as to regret that the game wouldn't be more of a contest.
I started cooking dinner with the opening drive of the game, and I watch Arizona march down as if the Bears were only there to usher the end zone arrival. Every time I returned to the game it was another fuck up. Turns out that by the time I got to my job the fuck ups were just on the other team.
A win is a win but that was just awful, plus Mike Brown is injured again. They probably will lose at Giants and Pats if this is par for the course.
And nobody here should loosely toss that "16-0" phrase around anymore, at least.
No one should ever throw out 16-0 phrase after five games. The Bears are an elite team, but Rex is the big question mark every game. WIth protection, he can give you 4 TDs. Under pressure, he can put up 4 INTs. His refusal to make check downs and take what's given to him, and his insistence on forcing it for the big play everytime will have to change if the Bears are to win a playoff game. He's still a young QB. I see the Bears getting to 10-0 as they head into Foxboro.
NFC breakdown
1. Philly
2. Carolina
3. Chicago
4. Seattle
5. Who gives a shit
The bears are a great team, it's just some teams do better against them than others. Carolina with Steve smith who the bears have a hard time stopping defeated them and I'm thinking they're going to win again against them. The Cardinals showed once again that they're a team with talented players that can't handle pressure.
