This is the Grossman performance I feared, but knew would reappear. The Bears have to now step back and focus on the east coast road trip, one which could conceivably leave them at 7-4 if they're not playing well. They have to reign in Grossman, but their disappointing running game won't quite let them. After the road trip, the Bears have Minnesota and St. Louis. 6 potential losses in a row after starting the season undefeated (and in dominating fashion). This is why there are 16 games on the schedule.

Griese is a 7 sack game and an IR stint just waiting to happen. What they need is for Rex to stop forcing the ball into coverage and to stop throwing with poor mechanics. And they need that running game to be like it was last year.

This is not a winnable game for the Jets. The Bears have a bad game and everyone screams they're overrated and suddenly everyone thinks their overachieving team could beat them. Both NY teams will soon learn the truth that they're not as good as the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network makes them out to be.
