Man you really need to put the controller down and give me some time to catch up in GP. I should really take advantage of the employee benefit of taking games home for 4 days to get some easy gamerpoints.

Good news for those disappointed with SF2:Hyper Fighting. According to Major Nelson:

There is an auto update now available for 'Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting.' Xbox Live users will be automatically prompted to accept this auto update the next time they sign in to Xbox Live with SF:II. When I asked what the update does, I got this from the marketing team:

The title update will address connection and time out issues that have been reported by players. In addition, the Leaderboards will be cleared in order to offset players that have cheated by causing intentional disconnections.

About goddamn time. I'm glad Capcom addressed this issue instead of ignoring it like their past LIVE fighting games. I'm going to play later tonight to see if the connection issues were really resolved.

SF2:HF just got patched. As reported by Major Nelson:

From my limited playtesting, the lag seems just as bad as it was before, and people in quarter matches still constantly get disconnected, and cheaters can still save rank by disconnecting. Awesome patch.

Sounds like the BF2 team worked on it.
