Mark this one down as a rumor for a slow news week, but durring an interview with IGN, the Mega Man series producer Ken Horinouchi had this little tidbit about the boy in blue making his way to XBLA:

    Quote:

IGN: Mega Man has seemed to find his home on portable systems. Will we see a move over to Wii as well? What about the virtual console or Xbox Live Arcade?

Horinouchi: That's a good question. I would love to be able to share Mega Man across lots of hardware platforms, and that is something I would definitely do if the opportunity arises.

While this certainly doesn't mean we'll be seeing it any time soon, it's good to know that they are concidering it.

You can check out the whole interview here.

Completely pointless and unnecessary. You can pick up the Xbox version of Mega Man Anniversary Collection for around $20 and it works on the 360.
    R.I.P. Paragon Studios

  3. Yeah, but does it have online co-op?

I'd love to see that shit.

  4. Eh, there's the Mega Man Anniversary Collection... I'd rather just play that. It's not like it can really benefit from Leaderboards or Live play.

EDIT: Saw I was beaten to it while posting replies to other threads... sorry. I use FireFox and just open tabs for all threads I want to read

Mega Man Anniversary Collection doesn't have achievements.

  6. The achievement is in avoiding it.

When has there EVER been a co-op Megaman game?

    JM

  8. That fighting one....uh Power Battles? Maybe have both of them together for 400 points. Not likely but I wouldn't buy it anyway.

The two arcade Mega Man games were co-op. Power Battles and Power Fighters I believe.

So you'd rather pay $5x10 games than $20 for all games just to pad your GameScore a bit? F that. I wouldn't even pay the extra $10 for 360 version of Lego Star Wars, so extra F that.

EDIT: Anniversary Collection is $13.99 at CC.
