Not just Ninja Warriors, but Darius I & II also would be nice.
The Rush'n Attack news rocks. Hopefully the response to this will make Konami want to follow it up with M.I.A.~Missing in Action sometime.
It is a damnable sacrilege that Yie-ar Kung Fu is going to be a Japan only release.Hopefully there'll be a Japanese version of XBLA Unplugged sometime with this on it.
If the "major franchise" is Tetris, I'd like to see TGM 2 or TGM 3 (with its crazy Shirase mode, where you can have up to 180 blocks a minute coming down). IMO Arika sort of held back somewhat on TGM ACE.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
Metal Slug to XBLA?
http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3153919
According to a pamphlet being handed out at the Tokyo Game Show by SNK Playmore, a version of Metal Slug is being brought to Xbox Live Arcade. From the look of the art at SNK's booth this may be Metal Slug 1 coming to XBLA. The text on the pamphlet translates to "the original."
SNK Playmore does not list a release date in the pamphlet for the Metal Slug title. Given the sketchy history Microsoft's had with Xbox Live Arcade titles of late (hello, Lumines) -- we're betting Metal Slug will appear on Xbox Live Arcade in 2007.
Metal Slug X and 3 are the only ones worth a shit.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."
I severely doubt it's going to be one of the TGM games -- the Tetris Company has had a longstanding beef with Arika (over little implementation details, the biggest being Arika's steadfast refusal to fully implement SRS). This also explans the world/classic toggle in TGM3 and some of the less welcome changes in TGM4.
The only thing that makes me wonder otherwise is that the producer of the series hinted at an XBLA release of one of the older games on his blog a while back. If that happened it would probably be like SF2:HF on XBLA -- not available in Japan, where it would be seen as a threat (serious or otherwise) to both the arcade and retail X360 versions.
Yes, that would be the business if it actually happened... although the thought of playing T.A. Death/Shirase on a X360 pad is just uggggggggggggh.
I adore Smash TV.
I can see myself not dying in stage 1 before, but the whole game? Never. Ever.
I'm up for a co-op game to finish off the achievements, though.
I never add people to my friends list, but I'll accept requests. Everyone else has long or retarded names I'm not going to spell out letter by letter. I'm just Mzo.
ALSO, UNO is the bomb, son. If it comes with the Vision like I think Chux mentioned to me I'm all about that. I used to play UNO with the black kids at school all the time, I love it.
