If you guys would all take a moment to realize it's a Christopher Nolan movie the whole thing makes sense. In that none of it makes any sense.
The action was better, Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart gave great performances, the plot was pretty much completely stupid.
The motorcycle and batdar were pretty stupid too. But skyhook wasn't stupid. Funny that the most rad thing is real.
I still enjoyed it though. The first time I gave up trying to follow the plot and the second time I enjoyed it more because once I figured out what the fuck was going on, I realized how none of it made any sense and really stopped caring about the story. I really wish you'd all stop harping on the falling out of a building scene. You really can create enough drag with just a piece of a parachute to save your life on a long fall. What you should really be wondering is what happened to the fucking Joker after Batman and Dogface had their little moment together on that car.
It's a fun movie though. I liked it enough to see it three times in theaters, even if I only paid for it once.

It wouldn't at all, this guy is a moron. A moron who has dedicated a non trivial amount of his life trying to to discredit a movie he doesn't like. It's a good thing he has priorities and that they are in order.How awesome would it be to see Superman and Batman in the same movie together?
Anyway batman (or any super hero for that matter) isn't exactly renowned for making sense. If you can except that coming in you will enjoy all this shit a lot more.

Note that I offered "Spore" up as a weird non-traditional story with Batsman in it, not OMG THIS TRUMPS DARK KNIGHT RETURNS RIGHT HERE.
It's still neat, and the guy who did it is a not-half-bad animator.
