I see I already posted about all of things. Never mind.
So I tune up the new Schecter, plug in, play 2 chords and then a pop and white smoke from my Bass Terror.
I'm assuming blown tube, but super bummer.![]()

Boo, Hiss.
I don't doubt the involvement of a faulty tube but smoke coming out will usually indicate something other than a tube. Not trying to be doom 'n gloom but hay...
I didn't smell anything electrical though. That's why I'm hoping just tube. Going to the tech to grab a set and see what we can do.

That's a tad more hopeful I think! I guess we'll find out.
Didn't notice any charring anywhere (on the tubes or the board), replaced the 12ax7 and everything seems fine.
Dude said to roll with it unless I wanted him to bench it and charge me money for nothing...
Hooray for $12 fixes!

Regarding the Ultra VI, this thing is going to be amazing after I switch the pickups with lace alumitone V-90s.

It's weird how much people seem to like those alumitones. Guitar players are usually easily frightened but I never hear any real person say anything bad about them.
I got four new pedals this week. Black Arts Toneworks had a scratch 'n dent sale so I got a Ritual and a Black Forest. I saw a cheap Hyper Fuzz on ebay and then there was a waaaay cheap MIJ HM-2 on the a fb group so I got that too. Also pictured on the left is my pedal which is completely complete now but I have to find a different screen printer guy. Despite him never saying no to anything I asked for it became obvious that he just doesn't have the time to add my shit to his crazy schedule and then get it done in any kind of reasonable time frame.

I have something very similar to that metal pedal. It was stolen from me in 1996, then made its way back to me a year or so ago.
I use it when we play Helmet songs at practice. I've not found any other use for it.
