I would like to see some unknown cast as chief that way we never have to see his face and they can have the actor who voices Chief in the game to do the movie also.

If they show a face it ruins the whole idea bungie has with not showing it in the game. They do it on purpose, so no one feels left out; you can think he's black, white, yellow, whatever.

They managed to give him a name in the books though. I forget if there's a physical description.

Point was though, that the whole nameless/faceless avatar thing Bungie's got going has already been successfully challenged by the novels. I read the first one hoping that "John" would meet his end at the novel's climax and another, nameless, soldier would be promoted to the MC.

I'd just be suprised (and impressed, and happy) if they made a movie with a main character who has no namd and no face.

Actually if they base the movie on the Fall of Reach book that might be cool. Then you get to see how Chief is so badass and what not then again he wouldnt be in his armor until 3/4ths of the movie is over with.

I have some hope for this and the god of war flick.maybe one or both of these movies will do for videogame movies,what blade,xmen,and spiderman did for comic book movies.If they get writers and directors who take the material seriously.And for the love of all thats holy keep paul anderson and especially uwe boll far,far away from these movies!Paul verhoven should direct halo!
