Maybe you didn't understand my question. Aren't there circumstances that would change the reasoning behind what is a planet and what is not?
If you say 'Well that planet isn't in the orbit of the sun, so it isn't a planet' then it's all person to person basis of what is a planet. Some people are going to say that it's a planet because it could support life, other people will say it's not because it isn't in the orbit of the sun. So really, we've gotten no where. (IE, some people aren't going to agree with this vote)
