    ps2 lightgun question

    I tried hooking up my ps2 lightgun to a brand new Sony Bravia LCD tv, but it didn't seem to work too well. Are the newer tv's incompatible with lightgun games?

    Unnecessary.

    dakidski, I think LCDs don't emit enough light to be sensed by the light gun. I'm no expert, though. Prolly googling would help ya.

    I used the DC and XBOX lightguns on my SD projection TV with perfect results. I haven't tried it on my HDTV yet so I can't answer that.
