If anyone cares, MS announced at TGS that with upcoming update, Xbox 360 will support 1080p for movies and games.

Also, is the 360 even powerful enough to display games in 1080p without dropping the framerate to 5 frames-per-second?
If the PS3 is choking on it, I doubt the xbox 360 will. I love my 360, but lets be real.

No, it's not. The PS3 can't, either, for about 99% of games. You may see a handful of games do it by the end of the generation, though. Gran Turismo 5 will probably run in 1080p (when it comes out late 2008). I'd rather they use the processing time to beef up the AI, though. lols.
