I wandered into one of those lets go all in every hand rooms and by playing smart I've made 500,000 so far.

I think I might go for getting out of debt tonight.

I play on pokerstars in free tournaments that can be worth money. Just finished 423rd out of a pool of over 5,000 because I'm a fucking idiot.

Learned a valuable lesson though: If you've got overcards and miss the flop, let it go. The big slick/AQ/etc still looks nice with shit on the board but everything beats you.

Define "overcards".

Anything that is better than the board but unpaired. So flop comes 4 5 9 and you have AQ and someone bets half your stack, let it go. Any small pair beats you and your draw options are a lot worse.

I lost with Big Slick so often that I noticed I was doing it.
