And considering the media and entertainment in the japan compared to us, you shouldn't be suprised at the RPGs or knock them for it. They buy manga and play Final fantasy, We buy SI and play madden. it's not a question of game quality but culture.

Uh, right. I've known IronPlant/butcheeks online for almost a decade and never known him to be racist.

And yeah, Madden's goth its depths, though most of it wouldn't exist without the competitive scene. When anything gets competitive the depths come out. Look at Capcom's Vs. games, which to most people look shallow--competition brings out depth.

I'm not sure why the point came up in the first place, but if it was to compare to Japan's popular titles then it's not an even comparison unless you compare to Japan's competitive games.
