People were pissed off about charging for horse armor in Oblivion. How could they possibly believe that buying a "blank" game and having to buy ALL the cars and tracks independently is anywhere close to a good idea?

And the version that comes with TWO tracks and 30 cars is the only option for those without the capability to bring the PS3 online. Worst idea ever.

i dont know why everyones bitching so much. Its not GT5, its the prologue. They are selling you the option of playing GT with high def resolution and downloading and playing what you want. The discs wont be more then $10-$20 probably. Buy the cars you like, play the tracks you want. God knows a lot of people dont get every damn car GTs offer, nor get to every track or go all the way in career mode. Its not GT5, its the prologue to let you play something before hand. Its not GT5 i repeat. GT5 most likely wont be doign this COMPLETELY.

if you dont like it just pop in GT4 and have ps3 upconvert, problem solved.

Because the same people who bitch would happily fork over $50 for horse armor alone. As long as you keep buying, they will keep charging.

is it official that the PS3 will upconvert PS1 and PS2 games? that and DMC4 alone would make me buy the PS3...hopefully the region free thing applies to PS1 and PS2 games too.

Wow looks like someone at sony realised some damage control was needed in order to rein in the disaster in the making that was the PS3. Still not ready to buy it, but at least they are making the effort somewhat.
