I was thinking of putting a "yet" in there. Weren't most launch games locked? How do you figure, games are locked, but not the 360, we don't know if the same is happening here or not.
Not that I know of, granted it doesn't matter with 360 since it's a wasteland in Japan.
Well...Senko no Ronde would be fun, but yeah, it's not a big loss or will it ever be (probably). PS3 is a different beast, but if their gaming trends continue (no shmups, etc), then it'll be the same
Gamestop's launch allocations have been cut in half, pre-orders can't be filled:

Those who sold theirs on ebay are crapping their pants. It's unclear whose fault it is, Sony's or Gamestop's for taking too many pre-orders. Regardless, we're seeing a repeat of last year, where people had 50-100 dollars on a system they don't know when they'll see.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhahahahahahahaha
LAWL...I told you this would happen
I'm going to blame this on Sony. Gamestop was very careful not to take reserves until they knew how many they were getting in order to avoid exactly this kind of scenario. I think avoiding this clusterfuck was pretty important to them. The "can't guarantee your system" notice was pure bet-hedging, but looks like a good idea in the end.
Besides, with as few reserves as most places took, it's not unreasonable to think they were expecting that many. Units per store were going to be stupid-small.
