My manager called me tonight to tell me that he and I were not going to be getting ours this friday. We had 8 reserves, thats including outs, but are now only getting 4. I knew this was going to happen and could care less. The only game I was going to have until March was Resistance. Sony is fucked now. F-U-C-K-E-D!

I feel nothing but Lol's for the people who sold reserves on Ebay and now won't get the system.

I feel greatly intense Lol's for the people who paid stupid money on Ebay for someone else's reserve that will not be filled.

I feel huge spasmic Lol's for Sony.

This is rather vain of me, but I'm a I just can't help it, so anyone who gets a PS3 and beats Resistance look for my name (Kajah R.) in the credits. I won't say anymore then that, though, so please don't ask. (not that anyone here really cares that much.) As for people not getting their PS3's well, I wish I had the problem of not being able to spend $600+ on a PS3...heheh, jk.

If you cannot get a system, just ask for your money back. If the manager says no because those were not the terms of agreement, he is lying. He just doesn't want a "negative reserve" reflected in his numbers. They cannot keep your money, that would be reserve fraud. If the manager still does not budge, ask for the District Manager. And if you really want to stick it to them, just call corporate and file a complaint. They love it when you do that.

I was second in line at the Gamestop I preordered from, so unless they get 0, I feel pretty safe about getting one. This is exactly why I didn't put the thing up on eBay yet, though. I hate the idea of selling something I don't have, especially in a case like this.

TRU still has enough for Pre-orders

Earlier today, specialty retailer GameStop told GameSpot that it would be unable to fulfill all of its PlayStation 3 preorders on launch day. Now a Toys "R" Us representative has confirmed some news that will reassure its own preorder customers, and give jilted GameStop customers one less place to consider camping out for a system on day one.

"We have enough [PS3 systems] to cover presells and that's it," the representative said bluntly.

Last month, Toys "R" Us opened up preorders for the PS3 and the Wii, filling up its allotment for both systems in short order. But while the retailer will just barely have enough PS3s to cover those commitments, Nintendo's new console is another matter. The representative said all of the company's stores will have some extra Wii systems to sell to people without preorders.

Sony has previously committed to releasing 400,000 PS3s in North America for launch, while Nintendo has said it "expects to sell 4 million Wii consoles globally by the end of 2006, with the largest allotment available in the Americas."

15 minutes of people with screwdrivers taking apart a PS3. I've come to the conclusion that, of its 11 pound weight, 2 pounds are screws alone. That leaves 5 pounds for all the metal guards inside, preventing access to the circuitry, and another pound for the fan. Take all that out and a PS3 would weigh 3 pounds total.

I'd Youtube link it, but it's spread across four seperate videos and I've yet to get the hang of the tags. Plus it's kind of dull, although oddly fascinating too.

Same here (but we were #1). Lol at the people who showed up at 9:30 at EB behind me who actually thought they were getting a PS3. Even more lol if any of those preorders were sold on eBay.

Once this news gets widespread, watch as eBay pulls all preorder auctions.
