This pretty much sums up how I feel about Monster Hunter. There's a lot of fun to be had there, granted the controls will probably turn people off, but once you get used to them and start playing online it's pretty awesome.

Well I can't say shit about the PSP games haven't played em, but I imagine that would be a problem. It's definitely a good reason to dust off your Wii though.

I haven't played God Eater yet, but PSP definitely doesn't cut it. It's not nearly enough about skill. And doesn't have the same focus on bosses. I know it's plenty similar nonetheless, but I'm talking about a game that rips off MH wholesale while fixing everything wrong with it. It's coming, mark my words.

I'm guessing Square's recently domained Final Fantasy Type Zero is going to be their crack at the genre. But yeah, these games are gold mines in Japan.

Really? This is probably Sony's best option instead of trying to compete against Nintendo directly.

So instead they get to compete against Apple. Who is this really marketed to by the way? It just comes off as some kind of mix of an iPhone and a PSP, and I just think its a weird market. I just don't think there's as much call for it as some here think.

I don't know I would just be surprised if this ends up doing really well. I could totally be wrong though.
