I SAY: Do the Planet Hulk Movie and have Surfer show up. Than him and Hulk can go at it.I would pay to see that.

but it will never happen. Cus Planet Hulk is too badass to be turned into a movie.

  5. Planet Hulk is shaping up to be pretty badass, but I'm sad that I don't collect comics (marvel/dc) anymore.

Get the Trades. all three sagas should be on trade righ tnow. and they are starting World War Hulk so that will be intersting to.
Planet Hulk would make a badass movie. Hulk + Gladiator + 300 = Kickassery.

Yeah that's just how he is in the comics but he I wished that he spoke and emoted more since that still feels like it's missing.

Wow, Doctor Doom sucked even more than he did in the last movie. He was such a stupid, annoying fag. But gee, it was so nice that the Surfer's powers magically healed him all the time.
See I liked the armor, the cloaked look on his messed up body, and the parts where he's using Silver Surfer's armor but Julian's voice doesn't do the character any favors and they never developed him all that fully.

Ah well, at least he said "Richards".

Speaking of the Surfer confronting Galactus, wasn't it nice that Galactus gave the Surfer the power to destroy him? And if he could have done that all along, why did he wait until now? And if the Surfer was that powerful, why wasn't Galactus working for him instead? So stupid. Having Reed threaten him with the Ultimate Nullifier thing would have made more sense.
I don't think the Surfer destroyed him, it makes more sense for him to have wormholed Galactus away during mid planet feed. Since they're making spin-off that'll probable be where it'll pick up after or it'll show SS's origin up to the FF movie and then after.

  8. seeing a siver surfer origin movie...now THAT i would see! i actually enjoyed this way more than the first one, but i still wish they could have made galactus a little more...like, formfull, or something. i know the purple spandex would be retarted, but c'mon. if you're gonna refer to galactus as "him", he should be more than just some storm.

  9. saw this last weekend. just like the first one, it wasn't HORRIBLE and was mildly entertaining. Doom was a pussy and basically a throaway charatcer, especially after the first ended with him going to Latvia (which we touch on for like 5 seconds this time). i liked Sufer being a bit bland, the vioce fit and i had no problems with the sfx. there's just way too much camp in this series though but Alba makes the world right.

  10. Just saw this, and thought it was great. Absolutely loved it. A perfect Fantastic Four movie, well maybe just shy thanks to Fishburne voicing the Surfer - hearing his voice initally took me out of the movie but I warmed to him as the Surfer's voice, though I still would have stuck with the guy in the trailer, who was great imo.

Galactus was handled better than I thought would be, and the nods/visual cues to the Kirby iteration were aces. The Surfer being able to (temporarily) stop him with what looked to be a suicide salvo didn't bother me.

Re: the Surfer's bland personality, that's makes sense more than anything. His experiences, and compromises, as Galactus' herald increasingly dissociated him from the being he once was as Norrin Radd. It wasn't until he arrived to Earth, presumably the first planet he came across that reminded him of his people (and of course, Susan reminding him of his loved one), that the repressed feelings and likely guilt as well came to the surface.

Also, the Stan Lee cameos need to stop. It was quirky and fun at first, but now it's just annoying. He has no business being in sequels.
