    <MarkRyan> goty

But seriously, yet another solid 2007 PS2 game. Sounds good.

  2. MOVIES!

    Windows Media
    Quicktime MP4

The battles look kind of Advance Wars-ish.

    Japanese release: January 25, 2007
US release: my guess is late July or August, 2007

    Ushihimasa or whatever?

  4. Oh shit, it's not a Strategy RPG, it's a Simulation RPG. It looks like Dragon Force. I might actually be interested in this one.

Damn Frog, you said the magic words! The video makes it look . The last game that I played that was like Dragon Force was Generation of Chaos for PSP. I stopped early on cause the voice lag was pissing me off. Too bad... This looks even better, though. US release, please!

  6. Uh... SRPG means "simulation rpg". It's just us Westerners who call it "strategy RPG". And Dragon Force is awful.

  7. wtf to all of that.

I've heard of those terms before, but as long as you brought it up... Simulating refers to what?

Honestly, I don't know. Simulation of war? Simulation of tactical battle? Hrm.

As far as Soul Cradle, I don't get the Dragon Force vibe from it. It reminds me more of Fire Emblem/Langrisser with traditional turn-based on a grid combat, with cutscenes for actual attacks.

    Incorrect.

Back in the old days when wars were fought by everyone waiting for one person to move at a time. They used to use high school gym grades to determine which soldier got to go first.
