Nightmare thread

The worst nightmares I've had in recent times involved me solving a mystery about a dead baby. The child came to life on the coroner's table. I said, "...but you're dead." It mouthed those words as I said it. That thing had no fucking eyeballs. Creepy. As. Fuck. I got up and yelled.

The other one involves, as usual, the US beating the holy hell out of Canada with missles. Seeing a bright light go up in the sky and come down right beside you, taking out everything around you.

100% true story, one time a few years back I had a dream where I went to Mr. K's house and made a deal to vacuum his carpet in exchange for getting to play the newest unreleased GTA game.

And "vacuum his carpet" isn't any weird type of sexual innuendo. I did it, then we played on 4 networked PCs; the game was online. I hijacked a school bus, it was rad.

I count it as a nightmare.

I get that sleep paralysis business when I ride the Amtrak. I think it's because I pass out but I'm so paranoid that I'll miss my stop I can't fall totally asleep, but the muscle-shutdown chemicals are already released. It suuucks. Terrifying.

I always like the dream where I'm falling from some murderous height, and upon hitting the ground, I physically jolt in my bed, and wake up. It's like a 3D ride where you cheat death.

I do that a lot when I fall asleep and don't mean to... like, I'll doze off and dream about walking, tripping, then wake up right when I hit the ground.

I used to fall asleep in math class in 6th grade. I remember it felt like i was still awake, like i could see, but i think i was only dreaming i could see and i couldn't comprehend what the teacher was saying. Then i would wake up and be all, "wha?"

yah i get that too.

i heard that if you actually hit the ground you could die.....resulting from the body shock. scarey stuff.
