yeah, I foolishly started the game with auto-update on not realizing this issue. Do you have these files? S&B maybe?
Vanilla United is no longer fully functional, even if you have them in seperate directories. You're not able to do anything that has anything to do with Coppers (so no more setting official times) and you can no longer look at your in-game player profile.
Just grab the tracks from that site I linked. If you haven't started Steam yet, you can just backup the *.Challenge.gbx files in your United folder before updating to Forever.

Nadeo allows anyone to download all of the previous official tracks for free. Just grab the first 10 pages worth of tracks from here: http://united.tm-exchange.com/?actio...mode=1&id=1001
Stop at Stadium E, since that's the last campaign track from TMU (you may have to hunt for Stadium A1 since it seems to be sorted as TMU Stadium A1 for some reason).
And if you're interested, you'll also find every other Nadeo track from each previous game. They're all compatible with Forever.
To use them, put them in your c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Trackmania\Tracks\Challenges folder. Use subfolders unless you don't mind a mess.
edit: I'm an idiot. The United Forever campaign is exactly the same as United, with the addition of a brand new Stunts campaign.

I won't even let me play most of those levels. It says they're already in the campaign.
EDIT: I don't think it's exactly the same, though. There's a lot of overlap, but I think some of them are different. The first set of Bay levels for example.

I think a lot of the changed maps are just sort of remade so they look very different but play similarly, but there are other changes, too.
You're right. Island A1 and Island A2 at the very least are completely different. This is strange.
edit: It looks as though only A tracks have been changed. Since you're not permitted to set an official time for the A tracks (they're considered training courses,) Nadeo can change those without fucking up the leaderboards.

Ahhh, that makes sense.
So every track that isn't an A track is old? I gotcha.
I was hoping to see more TMO environment tracks using the new pieces.
