Thread: Third Party Politics

I don't like the pricing structures of hospitals either, nor do I think they really give the kind of care that they should (for what you pay). We had to pay something stupid high when my mother went to get something removed and my dad ended up waiting on that problem I told you about during Christmas just so his insurance would help pay on it. If you remember what it was, it really wasn't something he should have been waiting for.

No one really likes those consent forms or any of the new red tape that keeps people from receiving care, today. If your dad had come to see my granddad back in the 60s/70s he'd done all the work for your dad for free if you'd promised to come by for the next three weekends and build him a fence. No paper work and no wait. Thats how things used to roll.

  2. Yeah, back on topic though:

The best way, it seems to me, to try to make your votes count is to start small, look at local and state elections as well as federal ones. Proper change doesn't happen over night. The more involved, public and motivated you are the more likely you are to affect change. At the moment, the most active and effective groups are conservitive christian fundamentalists - if you don't like it you have to play the game better than them. Heh... that last part is more advice to myself than to anyone else.

I'm trying to gain favor by flattering people of wealth or influence? O'rly?

If you two really are saying the same thing, then I imagine Tracer is a better debater than you. Imagine that.

  7. You totally had to look up sycophant didn't you?
    Boo, Hiss.

Well, I thought I knew what it meant but I couldn't understand why gozen would call me one for joking with Tracer.

Gozen isn't TNL best at using big six dollar words.

I guess if gozen wants me to start joking with him, he should start being a little bit more light hearted and inviting. He's currently as sociable as a peruana.
