I hate to say this, but selling the remote and nunchuck seperately is a smart move on Nintendo's part. Kids are going to be losing one half or another of them on a regular basis, and when parents see they only need to buy the half they need they'll be pretty pleased. But not having a pack with both of them together is stupid.

Yeah, thanks for the clarification. I suppose it would get a bit annoying to have to buy the nunchuck and wiimote separately. Thats why I am hoping that I won't have to buy any extra controllers after launch. I used to buy like 4 controllers with every system I bought, but I am sick of that. If I am going to play multiplayer now, my friends can bring over their own wii-motes![]()
So, I take it that you are not happy with the Wii pricing? I think the price is perfectly reasonable. Considering the fact that the DC cost $199 back in 1999 with NOTHING extra, $250 in todays money is fairly reasonable. Plus, don't other companies actually charge extra money for a vertical stand?
What is this I hear that the retro controller attaches to the Wiimote? Does it not attach to the system at all? If that is the case, are we going to have to buy an extra Wiimote just so we can play two-player retro games?
US pricing is pretty dumb, when compared to Japanese pricing. Japan is a lock, US isn't, so why are we paying more? System at $200, Wiimotes at $30, it becomes far more of an impulse buy. Why won't you learn Nintendo?
