That would be nice, still have my Wavebird around here somewhere. *-neo

  3. I said months ago they should delay the release of Zelda GC to make people buy Wiis (check). I also said pack-in Zelda (and maybe another game) and sell for $250... instead we get Wii Sports, as many of you predicted.

Nintendo used to pack in great games. Other companies would pack in crap. (See the Tom Kalinske interview where he tried to convince Sega of Japan to allow SOA to pack in Sonic.) Packing in Wii Sports is just cheesy.

Gamers are getting taken for a ride this generation.

IBTN. MS and Nintendo could have really stuck it to Sony. Instead, they look at it as a chance to gouge consumers without paying a penalty.
    No gnus is good gnus.

$120, and that's if I don't buy the nunchuck attachments. I'm visiting cousins who won't have the Wii system. If I can get away with having multiplayer fun with only two controllers instead of four, that's the route I'm going to take. I think all the mini-games in Monkey Ball only use the Wiimote, and I'm guessing that the same applies to Wario Ware.

This is not the case. I know at least one of them, Monkey Hurdles, or some shit like that, uses both. Which leads me to believe there will be many of them that use both parts of the controller.

  6. I'm going to wait. I think I have 2 friends who are going to get it, so I'll be able to give it a good testing before I commit. As of now, no games for the Wii really interest me.

For the Wii Sports, how much is there? Like is it only one golf course and one tennis court?

Damn. Looks like we won't be playing some of the 50 mini-games then.

  8. For $250 Nintendo can blow me. I'll wait for the price to drop to something reasonable.

  9. I'm more disappointed with the launch date than I am with the price. I was really hoping for a early October launch. Oh well. I'm not buying one anyways....

But he DID succede in getting Sonic as a pack in.

I think the reason for the Sports pack in is because it has enough to get people used to what the controller can do. Think of it as a trainer. The articles seem to point to that.
